The Crime Feast Crew

Crime Feast is a true crime podcast.
Eliza Knight, co-host of Crime Feast podcast

Eliza Knight

Eliza Knight is an avid history buff, and true crime obsessed. Her idea of the perfect Friday night, is chilling with a glass of wine and watching murder shows, or bingeing a thriller. She loves to share what she's learned with listeners and readers alike. Eliza's earliest introduction to crime was as a young girl when she used to play a board game with her dad called: Don't Talk to Strangers--and yes, she still owns the game. Eliza is an award-winning, USA Today and international bestselling author, and is also a co-host on the History, Books and Wine podcast. She lives in Maryland with her husband, three daughters, two dogs and a turtle.

Favorite Drink: I basically drink three things and they are all my favorite! Coffee, black. Iced water, so much ice! And wine. I have a preference for red, but love a good crisp rose on a warm day.

Must Have Snack: Cheese! All the cheese!

Favorite Crime Show: I'm a sucker for ANY crime show. But my "comfort show" (how weird is it that we say that?) is Killer Women.

Favorite Scary Movie: I loved the Scream movies. In fact, I'm now also watching the Scream series on Netlfix.

Favorite Thriller Novel: Do I have to pick? I love SO MANY. I think my all time favorite might be Cold Whisper by Rick Hautala, anything Stephen King or Dean Koontz, Patricia Cornwell... Does Dracula count? Love that one... When I was a teenager I read every one of Christopher Pike's books like a million times.

Lori Ann Bailey, co-host of Crime Feast podcast

Lori Ann Bailey

Lori’s fascination with all things sinister began on a star-filled night with a Ouija board at an abandoned port on the banks of the Mississippi River. She and a friend were contacted by the spirit of a serial killer named Zachary. Whether the ghost was real or conjured by sleight of hand, the adrenaline and fear pumping through her morphed into obsession. When not researching malicious miscreants, Lori writes award-winning, bestselling Scottish historical romance novels, co-hosts the podcast History, Books and Wine and plots historical fiction/true crime and thriller books. Lori lives in a perfect neighborhood, with a perfect husband, three charming sons and a daughter who has been successfully launched into the world. While Lori loves her two dogs and cat, she is the kiss of death to plants.

Favorite Drink: Depends on the time of day: Coffee in the am, water during the day, and Cabernet Sauvignon with dinner.

Must Have Snack: Microwave popcorn, Dove dark chocolate, and a flavored seltzer water.

Favorite Crime Show: Forensic Files has always been my favorite, but I also like Fear Thy Neighbor (except for the one they did on my extended family.) Maybe one day I’ll talk about that on a future episode.

Favorite Scary Movie: The Conjuring. My son is currently trying to convince me to go see Smile. The preview for that one is actually terrifying.

Favorite Thriller Novel: Ooooh, so many, but my current favorite is The Guest List by Lucy Foley.

Brenna Ash, co-host of Crime Feast podcast

Brenna Ash

Brenna’s obsession with true crime began when she was young after she saw a newscast about a woman left for dead in the woods after being abducted and assaulted and couldn’t get the thoughts of what that poor woman went through and how she must have felt out of her mind. She devoured true crime books any chance she got and continues to do so. When she’s not reading or watching true crime, Brenna gets lost in researching past centuries and writes award-winning romance novels. She lives in Florida with her husband and a very spoiled cat.

Favorite Drink: Coffee in the morning, water the rest of the day, unless I splurge on a Starbucks, then it’s a mocha – funny story about that, an author friend of mine was enthralled by my order so she had a character in one of her books order it. And wine. I can’t forget wine. I’m always the odd duck out since I don’t do red. Pinot Grigio is my fave.

Must Have Snack: Something sweet and salty. Usually Hershey’s and Lays potato chips.

Favorite Crime Show: I don’t watch on TV as much as I do online, but I have two favorite YouTube true crime shows – That Chapter and Coffehouse Crime.

Favorite Scary Movie: I don’t know if this would be considered scary, but it is kind of creepy - Crimson Peak. I love the gothic theme of it at all, plus Charlie Hunnam and Tom Hiddleston – yes, please!

Favorite Thriller Novel: The Girl in 6E by A.R. Torre
